The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise in construction software, and a solid understanding of civil engineering principles. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. The Construction Project Engineer will play a vital role in managing schedules, budgets, and resources while maintaining safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to stay within budget Oversee site activities ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Collaborate on project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to optimize efficiency Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, reports, and correspondence Utilize Civil 3D for site design coordination and layout verification Skills Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and project management principles Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site operations Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively Familiarity with contracts, legal considerations in construction projects, and compliance standards Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Solid understanding of civil engineering concepts related to heavy civil or infrastructure projects Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating leadership qualities in managing complex projects This role offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute significantly to large-scale construction initiatives while advancing their career in construction management.
