About the
Role:
As the CBRE Chief Building Engineer for this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of CBRE skilled trades personnel, and have oversight of subcontractors for the delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient operations of our client's semiconductor R&D facility. To be successful in this role you must have experience managing a maintenance team, monitor building management systems, CMMS, and have strong skills related to traditional facility infrastructure (electrical, HVAC/R, chillers, cooling tower, hydronic/hot water boilers, air handling equipment, etc.) and familiarity with critical systems that support cleanroom and laboratory environments such as Process Vacuum, CDA, Ultra-Pure Water system, Nitrogen generators, and Fan Filter Units.
What You'll Do:
Lead maintenance team, provide technical and procedural oversight of staff and subcontractors. Work with scheduler/planner for subcontractor coordination. Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption. Manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure work is completed correctly and on time. Monitor building systems to ensure equipment operates within design specification and meets compliance requirements. Oversee and inspect the work performed by team and contractors. Provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and training to coworkers. Follow all applicable codes, regulations, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
