Job Description

Job Summary A growing organization in the Redmond, WA area is seeking a Project Engineer to support complex engineering and construction-related projects from planning through completion. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an engineer who enjoys technical problem-solving, project coordination, site interaction, and cross-functional collaboration. The Project Engineer will work closely with engineering, operations, procurement, vendors, and project teams to help keep projects aligned with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects while continuing to grow technical and project management skills. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate engineering projects from initial planning through final completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and project requirements are met.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, project documentation, and engineering data for accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, vendors, and project teams to support project execution and resolve technical challenges.
  • Track project milestones, schedules, deliverables, risks, and resource needs while recommending solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Support cost estimates, material coordination, vendor communication, project reporting, and status updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and project reviews to monitor progress, quality, safety, and overall project performance. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $93,600 to $134,550 per year.
  • Direct hire opportunity. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Coordinate engineering and construction-related projects from planning through completion.
  • Review drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and project deliverables.
  • Track schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, materials, and vendor coordination.
  • Provide technical support to cross-functional project teams and field stakeholders.
  • 3 to 5 years of project engineering, construction, manufacturing, industrial project, or related technical experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, project coordination, technical documentation, and quality practices.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, technical data, and project requirements.
  • Experience supporting project schedules, cost estimates, materials, vendors, and project reporting.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, compliance requirements, and construction or technical project workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project details.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach. Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting residential, commercial, office, or mixed-use construction projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools, construction documentation, procurement coordination, or field inspection processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and recommend practical efficiencies across project workflows.
