Job Description

Build Your Future in Construction The Project Engineer internship offers exposure to all phases of the construction process, providing valuable experience in project management, scheduling, estimating, safety, quality control, and field operations. You'll gain practical knowledge while contributing to projects that make a lasting impact on the communities we serve. Responsibilities As a Project Engineer Intern, you'll support project teams with a variety of responsibilities, including: Assisting with project estimating, quantity takeoffs, and cost analysis.

Supporting subcontractor and vendor bidding, purchasing, and procurement activities.

Tracking project documentation, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs).Assisting with project scheduling, look-ahead planning, and weekly work plans.

Supporting project safety initiatives, inspections, and documentation.

Helping manage project budgets, cost controls, and payment applications.

Coordinating with project managers, superintendents, design professionals, and owners.

Assisting with field operations, site logistics, equipment tracking, and subcontractor coordination.

Supporting quality control processes and project closeout activities, including punch lists and warranty documentation.

Participating in company initiatives involving safety, lean construction, diversity, and continuous improvement. What You'll Gain Real-world experience on active construction projects.
