This role involves overseeing construction projects with a focus on civil infrastructure, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. The successful candidate will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of standards for HVAC, mechanical and plumbing systems, emergency generators and associated mechanical equipment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive construction site inspections to verify adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Analyze construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Perform quality control and quality inspection activities throughout all phases of construction projects. Ensure compliance with building codes, construction regulations, and safety standards across all project activities. Collect and analyze data related to construction progress, materials, and safety metrics for reporting purposes. Review construction specifications and contracts to confirm scope and regulatory adherence. Monitor public infrastructure construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and inspectors to facilitate smooth project execution. Conduct regular site visits for construction quality inspections and progress assessments. Assist in the development of construction schedules and manage documentation related to project milestones. Experience Proven experience working on construction projects within civil infrastructure or public works sectors. Demonstrated knowledge of building code analysis, construction regulations, and safety protocols. Prior experience in construction site supervision or inspection roles is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and data analysis. Strong understanding of interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and pipeline layouts. Familiarity with construction management processes including contracts, specifications, and quality control procedures. Ability to perform detailed analysis skills for evaluating project compliance and performance metrics. Experience conducting public infrastructure construction inspections with attention to regulatory standards. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
