The Utilities Department of the Public Works Branch has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician. This assignment will conduct records research and GIS mapping to update the water, wastewater, and recycled water system data in the city's GIS database; prepare engineering plans and standard drawings; and support the Engineering Division in capital improvement program execution. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team that serves a large customer base and will coordinate with administrative staff, engineers and field staff in the fulfillment of the department's objectives.
