They're looking for a Lead Engineering Technician to join their team in the Twin Cities.

Pay:

$35-$50/hour, based on experience and qualifications We are seeking Lead Engineering Technicians to support highway and urban roadway projects from design through construction. Responsibilities Develop roadway plans and design layouts. Prepare drawings, calculate quantities, and interpret survey information. Perform construction observation, inspection, and materials testing. Document construction progress and complete daily work reports. Work with contractors, engineers, project managers, and government agencies. Support surveying activities and train junior staff. Utilize Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D . Travel and occasional overnight stays/overtime may be required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Engineering Technology/Drafting preferred. 5+ years of civil engineering design and/or construction inspection experience preferred. Proficiency with CADD software. MnDOT materials testing certifications and

experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license required or ability to obtain one. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 50 lbs.
