Houston, Texas Join Our Houston Team B2Z Engineering is seeking an Engineering Technician to support our engineers in preparing Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) packages for TxDOT, counties, cities, and other municipalities. We are looking for a detail oriented professional with experience in civil engineering drafting and plan production. Experience with both MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) is required. Key Responsibilities Support engineers in developing PS&E packages for transportation and civil infrastructure projects. Use MicroStation and ORD to prepare and revise plan sheets, layouts, profiles, cross sections, details, and other project drawings under the direction of project engineers. Incorporate engineering markups and review comments while maintaining consistency across plan sets and following applicable client drafting standards. Assist with quantity takeoffs, estimate preparation, drawing checks, and organization of project files to support accurate and timely submittals. Qualifications Demonstrated experience using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD) for civil engineering drafting and plan production. Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, details, and technical markups. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with engineers and other project team members. Experience preparing plan sets for TxDOT, counties, cities, or other municipalities is preferred.
