Job Description

Johnson Volk Consulting, Inc. is a multi-discipline site development consulting firm serving both public and private sector clients in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and is looking for a Civil Engineering CAD Technician to join the team.
Job Description:
This full-time position is for a Civil Engineering CAD Technician to assist with engineering design, project production, and general support under the supervision of engineers. Projects include residential land development, commercial site development, and municipal road/utilities reconstruction. Tasks include but may not be limited to: Prepare construction documents for review and approval Prepare engineering submittal sets Prepare comment response letters Prepare various development exhibits for multiple projects Prepare quantity estimates using AutoCAD software Prepare cost estimate summaries Prepare bid documents Prepare construction contract documents Prepare construction summary reports Prepare engineering reports/correspondence Travel to municipalities as needed for submittals or document procurement
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with AutoCAD (preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D): 4+ Years High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Permanent right to work in the
