Meridian offers multi-discipline civil engineering and surveying services. Our Site Design Civil Engineering team is expanding and we're seeking a design engineer to join our team. The position will include working with experienced professional engineers for roadways, grading, drainage, utility and site development projects for residential and commercial development, including local government and K-12 schools, higher education, and more. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Required) 0-5 years' experience Site Design related projects including preparing plans, specifications, estimates, technical memos, design calculations and other related studies Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (Preferred) Must pass a drug test and have a valid driver's license Must be familiar with AutoCAD drafting and Civil 3D (Required) Skills & Experience Familiarity with APWA engineering standards is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Google Suite & Microsoft Office Be able to take direction and work independently Demonstrate ability to complete tasks accurately, on-time and within budget Preference given to local candidates Salary & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Career advancement, training, and continuing education opportunities Health and dental insurance IRA retirement plan Flexible hours Excellent growth potential
