Showroom Designer

We are seeking a Showroom Designer to join our growing flooring showroom team. This role is ideal for a creative professional who enjoys working directly with clients, guiding selections, and helping create beautiful, functional spaces through flooring and finish materials. You do not need a formal design degree to succeed in this role. However, you must have a strong creative eye, exceptional attention to detail, and a self-motivated work ethic. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and takes pride in delivering an outstanding experience. What You'll Do Work one-on-one with homeowners, builders, and contractors to guide design selections Assist clients in selecting flooring, tile, and complementary finish materials Create cohesive, functional, and visually appealing design solutions Collaborate with estimators/project managers in preparing estimates Maintain organized project notes and follow-ups throughout the sales process Ensure a seamless experience from initial consultation through final selections Stay current on product knowledge, design trends, and showroom displays What We're Looking For Strong eye for color, texture, and design coordination High level of attention to detail and organization Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects at once Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong computer skills, comfortable with multiple software/applications Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to build trust and relationships with clients and industry partners Sales mindset with a passion for helping clients make confident decisions Preferred (But Not Required) Experience in flooring, interiors, or construction-related fields Experience working in a showroom or retail sales environment Familiarity with design software or estimating systems Why Join Our Team Work in a collaborative, team-driven environment Be part of a growing company Help clients bring their vision to life on meaningful projects Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives Stable schedule in a professional showroom setting Compensation Competitive compensation will be based on experience and performance
