Evans Architectural Design, founded in 2020, is a registered architectural firm. We've created our niche in providing cost-effective design solutions to meet the needs of Housing Authorities across the state of Alabama and are expanding to other commercial projects. We set ourselves apart with our hands-on, client-friendly approach that remains focused on the client's needs and goals from pre-construction planning to project closeout. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team!
The Role:
As an Architectural Draftsman or Architecture Graduate, you will work closely with our team to develop detailed construction documents, assist in project design, and ensure that our technical deliverables meet our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
(In Office Position, Full-Time, 40 hours per week) Prepare detailed architectural drawings, using Revit software. Collaborate with the design team & the Client on project coordination and specifics. Conduct site field measurements as needed. Assist in project research, building code analysis, and material selection.
Desired Qualifications:
Degree in Architecture OR a Drafting technician certification/degree. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar industry-standard design software. Experienced understanding of construction methods and building assemblies. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet project deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to learn and work hard
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
$60,000 - $70,000 (open to negation based on experience and ability to produce Construction Documents) Access to Healthcare Insurance with the Company paying 60% of premiums.
