Job Description

The healthcare industry is growing faster than ever! At Surgery Center Services of America Healthcare architecture and Planning, we are seeking energetic individuals who want to grow professionally and personally during this exciting time in healthcare. Surgery Center Services of America (SCSA) and SCSA Healthcare architecture and planning, have wide-ranging expertise in virtually all aspects of ambulatory surgery center (ASC) development, Operations, State Licensure & Medicare Certification. SCSA projects range from simple, single-room facilities to multiple-room, multi-specialty surgery centers. Over the past 30 years we have developed over 425+ ASC's across the United States. SCSA Healthcare Architecture and Planning is seeking an experienced draftsman / production architect who will work directly with the Director of Healthcare Architecture and Planning and our consultants. The successful candidate will be assisting in the design and production of the construction documents of our projects nation wide. This position is for intermediate architect / project manager
Responsibilities :
Produce construction documents to meet the local and federal codes and standards. Produce as built drawings of existing building. Coordinate construction documents with engineers and other consultants. Conduct site visits as requested by the architect in charge, ensuring compliance with design intend and specifications. Help prepare cost estimates, contracts, bidding documents and technical reports for specific projects under the principal architect's supervision Travel within the USA might be required. Coordinate with all other consultants Open to learn healthcare design and planning.
Requirements:
College degree preferred. Must be proficient in ARCHICAD, and AutoCAD and Microsoft applications. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Healthcare and Commercial construction/architecture experience preferred (2 years) Ability to perform multiple, and detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines Must be a team player with the ability to work well under pressure.
