Job Description

SDC is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Designer to add to our office in Scottsdale, AZ Selkirk Design Company is seeking a talented Residential Architectural Designer to join our in-house team. This role focuses on creating architectural renderings and residential home designs. Our work is rooted in creating high-end custom homes that feel warm, functional, and timeless. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and has a solid understanding of residential design principles. We are looking for qualified individuals who value creativity, strong client relationships, and purposeful design.
Responsibilities:
Develop precise and highly detailed residential construction drawings, including elevations, foundation plans, floor plans, building sections, electrical layouts, and site plans.
Qualifications:
Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience) High level of efficiency in AutoCAD is a must! Ability to read and interpret construction documents Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Adaptable and dedicated team player Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills Experience in residential home building or production home building preferred Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment About us: Selkirk Design Company is an innovative custom residential home design firm serving Northern Idaho, Montana, and Eastern Washington, Colorado, and Arizona.
