Role Overview We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Designer to join our design team in a hybrid capacity (Phoenix, AZ area). In this key contributor role, you will develop design concepts and produce detailed 2D and 3D deliverables for advanced technology manufacturing environments, including high-tech facilities and semiconductor fabrication plants.
Develop comprehensive 3D structural models and complete drawing sets (plans and details) using Revit and other leading design software, working from rough sketches or verbal directions.
Standards & Accuracy:
Apply department and client standards consistently, verifying the completeness and accuracy of your own work prior to submission.
Cross-Disciplinary Coordination:
Support coordination efforts with related engineering disciplines, participate in QA/QC and BIM processes, and assist team execution.
Independent Execution:
Manage your assigned scope independently after initial direction, taking ownership of deliverables while proactively seeking guidance when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
Intermediate-level professional background in structural drafting and design, specifically within building structures, industrial facilities, or advanced technology manufacturing environments.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Revit and 3D structural modeling software, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high drawing accuracy.
Collaboration:
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting (minimum 2 days/week in the Phoenix, AZ office).
