DU Architects is a boutique design studio with over 25 years of experience in the Venice community. We specialize in contemporary architecture with a practical, hands-on approach to navigating city approvals and the design process to successfully realize built work throughout Los Angeles and beyond. Our studio operates in a collaborative, start to finish model - team members are involved in all phases of a project and take ownership from concept through construction.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience working in an architectural office. Professional Degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch, or other Arch degree) Experience producing construction documents Most of drafting is done in Vectorworks. We also use Revit for larger projects. Fluency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) 3D modeling and rendering skills are a plus. (SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape) Experience with Los Angeles Building Department and plan check process is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate projects with consultants across multiple disciplines Prepare, develop and maintain drawings sets through all project phases Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and city agencies Manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to budget, scope and schedule
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS

$50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
