Job Description

Overview Kimley-Horn is seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our dynamic Renewable Energy Team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our energy projects by utilizing computer-aided drafting (CAD) tools to create high-quality site plans and construction drawings. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards while contributing to meaningful renewable energy designs. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities Create detailed site plans and construction drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software for renewable energy projects. Design and produce comprehensive sets of plans, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout. Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards set by Kimley-Horn. Assist in maintaining and organizing the drawing database to ensure efficient access and updates. Perform routine checks and analysis to verify accuracy and quality of drafted designs. Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and technical standards, ensuring all work aligns with project goals. Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or related drafting software. Experience in drafting for infrastructure, civil engineering, or renewable energy projects preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, accurate deliverables. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Salary Range:
