Position Overview:
As a Truss Designer, you'll be at the forefront of our design process, responsible for creating efficient and durable truss systems that meet the unique needs of each project. From conceptualization to production, you'll leverage your expertise in structural engineering and design software to develop innovative solutions that optimize performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements and design objectives. Develop precise truss designs using advanced software, ensuring compatibility with manufacturing processes and industry standards. Conduct structural analysis and feasibility studies to validate design integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements. Generate detailed drawings, specifications, and material lists for production purposes. Continuously evaluate and improve design methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of design plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred, not required. Must have proven experience in truss design, preferably within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency in CAD based software (e.g., Draftsight, Eagle Metal), with a strong understanding of 3D modeling and drafting techniques is preferred. Knowledge of structural analysis tools and engineering principles is preferred. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and optimization. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to design challenges.
