This Designer role is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in plumbing, HVAC, piping, or mechanical design who wants to build long-term career growth with a stable organization. This position offers hands-on involvement in design, drafting, coordination, and field support for real construction projects. The team environment is collaborative and project-focused, with regular interaction between design, project management, fabrication, and field operations. Candidates who enjoy problem-solving, technical coordination, and seeing their designs move from plans to installation will find this role especially rewarding. Key Responsibilities Review commercial, multifamily, and residential plumbing and HVAC plans, then set up CAD and Revit files for design work. Design and modify plumbing, piping, HVAC, and mechanical systems based on project specifications, codes, and field requirements. Create 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, details, isometrics, schedules, and fabrication or installation drawings using Revit and/or AutoCAD. Review project drawings and submittals for coordination, accuracy, space limitations, constructability, and compliance. Perform material takeoffs, prepare material requisitions, and support fabrication and field operations with technical design questions. Coordinate with project managers, field foremen, and field teams to resolve design issues, incorporate revisions, and support jobsite needs.

Compensation and Benefits Pay range:

$25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
