Position overview:

As a CAD Detailer on our Plumbing and Piping Detailing team, you will work closely with design teams to help ensure design documents are accurate, clear, and ready to support successful project execution.

Key responsibilities:

Use Revit to create detailed shop drawings from project plans and specifications Coordinate shop drawings with other trades to identify and resolve conflicts affecting Lawson's scope of work Generate RFIs to resolve design document discrepancies before shop fabrication and field installation begin Manage detailing work to meet project schedule deadlines and material lead times Review design document changes issued throughout each project to identify any impacts to Lawson's scope of work Communicate clearly and proactively with all members of the project team Qualifications and experience: A minimum of two years of relevant work experience Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit 3D modeling experience and BIM coordination preferred Experience in a construction-related field Understanding of construction terminology and drafting standards Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing accurate and precise drawings Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively across project teams Preferred software experience: AutoCAD Revit Navisworks Job schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Salary:

Based on experience. The starting pay range is $22-$24 per hour. This position is non-exempt.
