This is much more than a drafting position. You'll play a key role in coordinating projects from design through production by preparing shop drawings, generating cut lists, coordinating purchasing, collaborating with vendors, and supporting our production team to ensure projects move efficiently from concept to completion. What You'll Do Create detailed production-ready cabinet shop drawings using cabinetry design software. Interpret architectural plans, field measurements, and project specifications. Prepare accurate production documentation, cut lists, and material lists. Order project-specific materials and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely procurement. Collaborate with project managers, shop personnel, installers, and vendors throughout each project. Review drawings and production documentation for accuracy before manufacturing. Manage multiple projects while maintaining schedules and deadlines. Identify opportunities to improve workflow and production efficiency. Support projects from initial design through final production. Qualifications We're seeking an experienced professional with a strong understanding of custom cabinetry, production, and manufacturing. Required Qualifications Significant experience in cabinet drafting, cabinet design, or architectural millwork. Experience using professional cabinetry design software. Experience creating detailed production-ready shop drawings. Strong understanding of custom cabinetry construction and manufacturing processes. Experience preparing cut lists, material lists, and production documentation. Experience ordering project materials and coordinating with vendors. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with office staff, vendors, and production personnel. Preferred Qualifications Experience in custom residential cabinetry and architectural millwork. Experience supporting projects from design through production.
