Job Description

CAD Technician / Civil Site Designer We are looking for a CAD Technician / Civil Site Designer to help turn development concepts into clear, practical construction plans. This position will support residential subdivision and commercial projects from early layout through agency approval and final design.
Responsibilities:
Prepare site, grading, drainage, utility, erosion-control, and stormwater management plans. Work alongside engineers to develop designs and resolve site-related challenges. Assist with drainage calculations, stormwater reports, exhibits, and permit submissions. Coordinate plans with surveyors, architects, utility providers, and reviewing agencies. Update drawings in response to design changes and agency comments. Help keep projects accurate, organized, and moving toward approval.
Qualifications:
Experience with civil site drafting or land-development design. Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management. Ability to read surveys and construction plans and apply engineering direction. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Education or technical training in civil engineering, design, or drafting is preferred. Relevant hands-on experience will also be considered.
