Civil CAD Designer Draftsperson
Job Description
Transition Engineering Surveying (TES) is pleased to announce a job opening for a Civil CAD Designer/Draftsperson In this role you will perform a range of tasks requiring general knowledge of engineering technologies utilizing CAD and other drafting tools.
Job Responsibilities :
- CAD draft from conventionally collected survey field data
- Daily processing of survey data, including evaluation and accuracy and sufficiency
- Generate surfaces using 3D polylines and points
- Prepare various land survey drafts for various clients
- Perform deeds research, deed plotting, and map checks
- Provide office support, performing computations of base files
- Ensure schedules and productivity objectives are achieved
- Work in the field as needed
Required Attributes:
- Software experience: AutoCAD Civil3D, Microsoft Office
- Proficient in technical math, including geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to read, interpret and draft plans, profiles, cross sections and details
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task assigned projects, and work with minimal supervision
- Capable of fieldwork and manual labor
- Land Surveying experience
- Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills
- Team player attitude; Desire to learn and grow in the surveyor profession
- High school/GED
- Valid driver's license
