Active Florida Registered Architect license (required) Minimum 5-7 years of residential design experience Extensive knowledge of Florida Building Codes and coastal regulations Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or advanced 3D modeling software Strong portfolio showcasing luxury residential design projects
Job Summary:
ICI Homes, Florida's premier custom homebuilder, is seeking an experienced Residential Architect / Designer to lead architectural design efforts across multiple Florida markets, including Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando. The Residential Architect / Designer will play a key role in shaping the vision for luxury custom homes while collaborating with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver exceptional residential communities.
Responsibilities:
Lead the architectural design and development of custom luxury homes Create and maintain construction documents, plans, and design specifications Ensure all designs comply with Florida Building Codes and applicable regulations Collaborate with interior designers, project managers, and clients throughout the design process Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software to develop innovative residential designs Review and coordinate project plans to ensure quality, functionality, and constructability Support permitting and regulatory approval processes as needed Stay current on industry trends, design innovations, and building code changes
