Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled High End Residential Designer to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will lead the conceptualization and development of luxurious residential spaces, transforming client visions into stunning, functional realities. Your expertise in architectural design, interior aesthetics, and sustainable practices will drive the creation of bespoke environments that exemplify sophistication and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on exclusive projects that demand precision, creativity, and a keen eye for detail. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure every aspect of the design aligns with their aspirations and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive architectural and interior design concepts for high-end residential projects, incorporating sustainable design principles and building code compliance. Create detailed construction drawings, construction documentation, and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and NavisWorks. Prepare realistic renderings and visualizations using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software to effectively communicate design intent. Coordinate project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating to ensure timely delivery within financial parameters. Conduct building code analysis and review construction accessibility regulations to guarantee regulatory compliance throughout all project phases. Oversee construction detail documentation and manage construction management tasks to facilitate smooth project execution. Engage in business development activities by preparing proposals, presenting concepts to clients, and fostering long-term relationships for future projects. Collaborate with contractors on negotiation processes related to contracts, procurement, and project scope adjustments. Utilize BIM tools such as Revit for building information modeling to enhance accuracy in design coordination and construction documentation. Support renovation projects by applying expertise in interior design, interior architecture, and sustainable practices to create cohesive living environments. Requirements Proven experience in architectural or interior design with a focus on high-end residential projects; portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design solutions is essential. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD; experience with Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, NavisWorks preferred. Strong knowledge of construction details, building codes, accessibility regulations, and construction documentation processes. Skilled in 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering using software such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, 3ds Max or similar tools. Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, construction estimating, and project management methodologies. Excellent communication skills for client presentations, team collaboration, and negotiation with contractors. Ability to interpret building code analysis and ensure regulatory compliance throughout all phases of design and construction. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and building information modeling (BIM) tools is highly desirable. Construction experience or background in renovation projects will be considered an asset.
