In this energetic role, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop precise construction documents, detailed schematics, and comprehensive building information models (BIM). Duties Prepare detailed construction drawings, schematics, and technical documentation using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and Rhino 3D. Develop accurate 3D CAD models and BIM representations to visualize architectural concepts and facilitate project coordination. Create construction detail documentation that adheres to building codes, safety standards, and client specifications. Assist in building code analysis to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with architects and engineers on system design, interior layouts, mechanical systems, and graphic presentations. Utilize drafting tools like SketchUp, 3ds Max, Grasshopper 3D, and SolidWorks for complex modeling tasks. Support project teams by reviewing drawings for accuracy, consistency, and clarity while maintaining high-quality standards throughout the design process. Requirements Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, 3ds Max, SolidWorks or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of building code compliance and construction detail documentation practices. Demonstrated ability in 3D modeling software and building information modeling (BIM) tools for architectural projects. Experience in construction site environments or with mechanical design is a plus. Excellent drafting skills combined with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Familiarity with engineering CAD design principles and system design concepts. Ability to interpret architectural schematics and translate them into precise technical drawings. Effective communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including interior designers and structural engineers.
