Job Description

Structural Engineer (Residential Construction) - Full-TimeJoin Our Growing Design-Build Team We are a rapidly expanding residential construction company seeking a licensed Structural Engineer to join our in-house team. Our company specializes in custom homes, room additions, structural modifications, and major residential renovations throughout South Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer to help us start a projects from concept through permitting and construction. Qualifications Active Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) License Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience Strong understanding of Florida Building Code and residential construction practices Experience with structural calculations, design, and permitting Proficiency with AutoCAD and engineering software Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Primary Responsibilities Perform site visits and existing condition assessments Prepare Architectural plans + Prepare MEP plan - existing and proposed Prepare structural plans and engineering calculations for: Room additions Home extensions Structural remodels Custom residential homes Load-bearing wall modifications Roof and framing systems Coordinate with architects, contractors, and MEP consultants Review architectural plans and provide structural solutions Design foundations, beams, columns, lintels, and framing systems Prepare permit-ready full package
