We are seeking an experienced cabinetry professional who combines strong design skills, proven sales ability, and a thorough understanding of how custom cabinets are manufactured and installed. We are an established custom cabinet design and sales firm serving Florida's West Coast, with proven sales and trusted suppliers of quality Amish-built, solid wood custom cabinetry and trim. Our operating partner is retiring, creating an opportunity for the right person to take a central role in client relationships, project execution, and the continued growth of the business. For a candidate who demonstrates the ability to lead and grow the company, this position offers potential for equity participation . The opportunity You will guide customers from their initial ideas through design, selections, proposals, and ordering, coordinating with suppliers and installers to help ensure the finished product delivers on the promise. You will also play an important role in developing new business and strengthening relationships with homeowners, builders, remodelers, and interior designers. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the details, earns customers' confidence, and understands both the creative and technical sides of custom cabinetry. What you'll do Meet with customers to understand their vision, functional needs, budget, and project timeline. Develop thoughtful cabinetry layouts, designs, material selections, and specifications. Prepare and present accurate estimates and proposals, follow up on opportunities, and close sales. Review field measurements, drawings, appliance specifications, and installation requirements before orders are released. Communicate clearly with manufacturers about construction details, finishes, modifications, and production requirements. Coordinate with customers, builders, designers, and installers throughout each project. Manage changes and resolve issues with professionalism and attention to quality. Help grow referral relationships, improve processes, and shape the company's next chapter. What you bring Demonstrated success selling and designing custom cabinetry. A working knowledge of cabinet construction, wood species, finishes, door styles, hardware, and manufacturing processes. The ability to read and interpret plans, elevations, shop drawings, and specifications. Proficiency with cabinetry design software, such as 2020 Design, ProKitchen, Cabinet Vision, or a comparable platform. Strong customer communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Sound judgment in pricing, project scope, margins, and customer expectations. Organization and follow-through across multiple projects. An entrepreneurial mindset and the desire to take on meaningful responsibility. Experience with Amish cabinet manufacturers, custom millwork, or business operations is especially important. Why join us? An established business with proven sales and room to grow. Trusted supplier relationships and quality products you can confidently represent. A key role with direct influence over customer experience and business results. The opportunity to help lead the business as our operating partner retires. Potential equity participation, subject to mutually agreed terms. Generous compensation plan for the right individual. Interested? Apply with your résumé and a brief introduction describing your cabinetry design and sales experience, the software you use, and why a leadership opportunity with potential equity interests you. Please include a portfolio or examples of completed projects, if available.
