Job Description

Oliveri Millworks is a custom high-end architectural millwork operation located in West Palm Beach, FL. We fabricate a custom line of mahogany, steel, stainless steel windows and , interior doors, and custom woodwork.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a candidate to join our team that has previous experience in project management and architectural drafting. Job Responsibilities Create and manage shop drawings for architectural windows and doors. Manage and or assist in assigned projects when they are released to be drafted in the shop drawing stage. Take projects from work authorization stage to final delivery to jobsite. Project managers are expected to be the subject matter experts on all things related to the project including, but not limited to; specifications, plans, etc. Help and manage updates in shop drawings as required. Notify cross functional teams of changes. Partner with Engineering, Production, Project Management and Estimating to ensure all projects are moving along in a timely manner in line with the priced project. Ensure all submittals are submitted and approved in timely manner and update shop drawings accordingly. Manage communication with customers including but not limited to general contractors, designers, architects in regards to project needs and specifications.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred. Experience creating fabrication drawings and BOMs. Ability to interpret architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability. Must be able to provide high level of professional written and oral communication Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook - Microsoft 365 Must be proficient in AutoCAD to help in reviewing shop drawings. Experience in SolidWorks, is preferred not required. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: Custom windows and doors Architectural millwork Metal fabrication Glass and glazing systems Wood and steel fabrication Manufacturing and production environments Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
