The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect/Architectural Designer with 5+ years experience preferred (3 years minimum). This role is ideal for a self-motivated designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality design work and clearly communicated drawing sets spanning modern new construction, adaptive-reuse, and historic preservation projects, while contributing to a values-driven culture.

Responsibilities:

Lead design efforts from concept through construction documents Collaborate closely with clients and the internal team to solve complex design challenges Produce high-quality design drawings, 3D models, and presentations Mentor junior staff and support the growth of the studio Manage projects independently while meeting schedules and budgets Integrate historic preservation principles into design and documentation when applicable

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of professional architecture experience Licensed Architect (preferred but not required) Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and problem-solving ability in addition to high-level graphic communication skills Highly self-sufficient, driven, and detail-oriented Proficiency with design software (Revit, Rhino, Adobe Suite; D5 a plus) Excellent communication and collaboration skills
