This individual, within the Revit design team, will work closely with the team to develop functional floorplans, elevations, and structural documents. Collaboration within the team and with interior designers, production managers, and the sales team is critical to the success of this role. Duties and Responsibilities The primary job duties and responsibilities for this position are as follows:
  • Design floorplans and elevations for a variety of residential projects
  • Coordinate with the structural design team, sales team, production team, and company management to design appropriate plans for the best function and livability.
  • Create structural plan sets and collaborate with engineering to finalize structural construction document sets.
  • Support the plan design team in managing the floor plan database.
  • Develop Revit families. Skills and Qualifications
  • Preferred experience as a Revit Designer or similar position: 7+ years
  • Prior industry experience preferred: 7-9 years.
  • Preferred, but not required, that candidate be a licensed architect.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit
  • Highly detailed, visually focused individual
  • Self-motivated and eager to grow with the company.
  • Passionate about design and construction.
  • Growth-minded with a desire to always improve in one's role.
Environment This role is primarily office-based but does require site visits and collaboration with the production team.
