Job Summary We are seeking a skilled professional to prepare mechanical designs and drawings using NX1980 and Teamcenter, adhering to

ASME Y14.5-M-1994

(or higher) GD&T standards. This role supports a significant project within the TD division. The position requires collaboration with engineering staff to research and analyze design solutions, coordinate design development, and specify and select design components and materials. Responsibilities Create design tolerance and stack-up calculation s. Develop layout designs a nd detailing. Produce advanced level 3D models and 2D drawings. Ensure all deliverables are completed in NX1980 and managed in Teamcenter. Adhere to quality assurance standards as per QAM and Design/Drafting Procedures. Qualifications Proficiency in NX1980 CAD, demonstrated through an interview. Minimum of 10 years of experience using NX with Teamcenter. Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a Designer. Ability to create 3D CAD models using advanced features. Ability to create 2 D drawings using GD&T with proper applications. Capability to deliver quality work products for deadline-driven projects.

Work Arrangements Location:

On-site in Batavia, IL. Batavia is a charming city known for its rich history and vibrant community, providing a welcoming environment for residents and visitors alike.

Schedule :

40 hours/week, Monday through Friday , with hours between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time. The role requires the ability to perform CAD design activities at a computer workstation for approximately eight hours per day, five days per week. This includes prolonged sitting, frequent and repetitive use of a keyboard, mouse, and other computer input devices, as well as the ability to visually inspect detailed CAD models and drawings for extended periods.
