Job Summary This Position is 100% onsite in Erlanger, KY Our Co-Ops/Interns receive top-notch applicable training in their focused area of study and the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive environment that will challenge and grow them every step of the way! You will thrive in this role if you: Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Possess strong problem solving skills. Demonstrate exceptional organization and communication skills. Exhibit solid attention to detail. These skills will be used to:
Architecture Production:
Process site specific construction drawings and review for quality and accuracy. Assist in troubleshooting permit questions from plan examiners and field issues. Assist with master drawing maintenance in CAD.
Architecture Design:
Assist with schematic design and design development of new home designs. Assist with development of product presentations and obtaining approvals from Developers and local Municipalities. Assist with updates and revisions to current home designs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related fields. Working knowledge in AutoCAD. Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Physical demands and work environment:
Must be able to use sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) to effectively communicate and interact with other Associates and customers. Must be able to perform repetitive motions and use fine motor skills (i.e. typing, writing) to operate office supplies (i.e. computer, calculator, copier). Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-25lbs unassisted. Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing.
