Job Description

Would you like to showcase your eye for designing, remodeling, and accessorizing home spaces? A job as a kitchen designer might be for you! W.Stephens Cabinetry and Design provides planning and design services for the entire home including kitchens, bathrooms, wet bars, butler pantries, libraries, home theaters, and closets. Our designers follow a project from conception to completion, assisting clients in not only space-planning and design but also guiding clients through each step of the project. As a designer, you will work with clients to discuss all aspects of creating, remodeling, and updating their home. You will discuss building materials, themes, colors, patterns, and room layout ideas. The designers produce sketches and drawings based on their clients' needs and work until the project is completed.
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in design; or equivalent experience. An art or graphic design background could also be useful. but previous cabinetry design experience is required. Sharp, creative eye; drafting, and layout skills Ability to use computer software (such as 20/20) used to create 3D models and also for database management and reporting. Knowledge of building and industry trends Basic administrative skills Skilled in team and project management with an ability to work for prolonged hours in order to complete the projects within the assigned time limit Highly passionate to work in an environment where multitasking is the key to prove your mettle Communicative, supportive, and comfortable to deal with stress that comes as a byproduct with the amount of work assigned to you Help maintain showroom, samples, and appearance of displays, and other duties as needed.
Work Environment:
Offices, design sites; flexible work schedules are required to meet with clients We offer an attractive benefits package, including health & dental insurance, 401K, and a commission rate that's higher than the industry average.

$45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
