Job Description:
The Project Designer III works under the direct supervision of a licensed architect to support the planning, design, and documentation of complex architectural projects. This role contributes to the development of conceptual and construction documents and may lead or manage projects of moderate to high risk or smaller multi-phase projects with greater complexity.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead or support the development of creative, client-focused design concepts.
  • Prepare, modify, and update architectural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Translate design concepts into detailed presentation and construction documents.
  • Conduct programming, site planning, and schematic design using 2D/3D modeling tools.
  • Apply building codes and zoning requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Interface with clients to present design ideas and resolve design-related issues.
  • Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and other disciplines to coordinate design solutions.
  • Support or lead construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, RFIs, and change directives.
  • Develop material sample boards and visual presentations for internal and client use.
  • Stay informed on building construction methods, graphic standards, and industry best practices.
  • Research materials and systems to support design and documentation quality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in an architectural setting.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong design, communication, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience producing construction documents and coordinating with clients and consultants.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices is preferred.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and proactive in delivering high-quality design solutions.
  • Availability to work a standard Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule, with flexibility as needed.
