The Civil/Survey CAD Designer will provide AutoCAD design and drafting support for various site development projects from conceptual phase through construction documents as well as provide support for our survey department. Tasks will include developing construction documents and plan sets for small and large-scale commercial retail, residential development, industrial, public works, and parks/recreation projects along with drafting ALTA, topographic, and boundary surveys. Top candidates will have previous civil design experience in a consulting firm environment. Responsibilities Develop complete sets of site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D including site geometry, utility, erosion and sediment control, grading/drainage plans and details in accordance with client, municipal and UG design standards Analyze surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints and the best approach in developing and completing projects on time and on budget Complete redlines and plan revisions Research and review deeds, ordinances, technical reports, municipal, state and federal codes to ensure compliance Collaborate with fellow team members to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions Other duties as assigned Requirements At least 3 years of CAD design experience, preferably utilizing Civil 3D Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Valid Driver's License About The Umlor Group is a full service civil engineering and land surveying company that has been built with a strong team of licensed engineers, land surveyors, landscape architects, and construction managers.
