Job Summary:

Full-time entry-level Architectural Designer 1 will learn and train under architectural employees. Bachelor's degree or working towards a degree is required, but no professional experience is necessary.

Direct Supervisor:

Team Project Manager and/or

Project Architect Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in the delivery of our product: excellent design, construction document production and coordination so that it is clearly understood by clients, governing authorities, and construction workers. Create 3D models using Revit, following KWA production standards. Assist project teams with graphic design, administrative and organizational tasks. Revise documents per markups by team. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn quickly, retain information, and apply knowledge to projects Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas. Proficient in Revit Experience with Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Preferred experience in Enscape and/or Lumion. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to learn and show potential to move to the next position in the firm.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or working towards a degree in Architecture required. No relevant experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
