Designer Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of all assigned cabinet projects, ensuring all projects meet client specifications, deadlines, and budgets.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and team coordination to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and production departments to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Coordinate all aspects of the project, including design, procurement of materials, scheduling, installation, and final inspections.
• Communicate regularly with clients, updating them on project progress and addressing any concerns or adjustments to timelines or scope.
• Lead and support the project team, ensuring a collaborative and efficient approach to problem-solving and project completion.
• Apply 2-Second Lean principles to identify opportunities for improving project workflows and reducing waste, increasing overall efficiency.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success, including customer satisfaction, processing time, and signed dollars.

In the future, budget adherence will be added.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of cabinet experience is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude Prior drafting and/or installation experience is a plus Since this role is customer-facing, must be friendly, professional, and outgoing Willingness to use their own vehicle for meetings Ability to efficiently read a tape measure Excellent verbal and written communication skills
