Job Overview Architectural Drafter / Project Coordinator We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Residential Architectural Drafter / Project Coordinator with approximately 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The primary focus of this position will be developing and maintaining residential base plans and construction drawings using AutoCAD. The position will also assist with incorporating redlines and revisions, preparing plans for permitting, and tracking projects to help ensure work stays organized and continues moving forward. Experience:
Associate degree, technical diploma, or certificate in Architectural Drafting, CAD/Drafting, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in residential drafting, architectural drafting, or a related field. Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate residential base construction drawings using AutoCAD. Incorporate red lines, revisions, and project updates into drawing sets. Prepare drawings and documentation for residential permitting as needed. Assist with permit applications and follow up on permit-related items. Track the progress of multiple projects and monitor outstanding tasks. Maintain accurate and organized project files and drawing sets. Communicate with team members regarding project status, revisions, and deadlines. Assist with other drafting and project coordination tasks as needed. Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD . Ability to read and understand residential construction drawings and plans. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned tasks. Familiarity with residential permitting processes is preferred but not required.
Pay:
$24.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
