https://eacg.com/careers/internship-program/ Description We are seeking Civil Engineering Intern within the Transportation/Public Works Department in our Omaha office for our 2027 Summer Internship Program. This is your opportunity to learn directly from seasoned professionals who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of engineers. You'll assist with detailed design plans, gain hands-on experience with roadway and local infrastructure projects, and build a strong foundation for your career— all while making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a growth mindset—ready to learn the technical tools and design software needed to grow into a successful engineer. Additionally, this candidate will: Gain exposure to the day-to-day workings of the Civil Engineering Department Receive hands-on learning experience through civil engineering project work, job shadowing, and interaction with leadership
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's program for Civil Engineering Sophomore year required work completed in May 2027 Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills General understanding of engineering plans and documents Ability to effectively work independently or with a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Junior year required coursework completed in May 2027 Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D Demonstrated experience in the engineering industry or related experience E&A is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
