View all jobs Architect Las Vegas, NV ENGINEERING, Architecture In office Full-time The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions. We are seeking an Architect to help us design, plan, and carry out our construction projects in cities across the world! Responsibilities a first principles approach to design production: simplify requirements, delete unnecessary process steps, optimize, accelerate production, and automate. Assist project teams in the production of quality documents from initial concepts to construction documents. Perform construction administration duties and ensure adherence to design intent, working quickly with stakeholders to resolve issues. On-site construction visits required. Research building codes, materials, and industry guidelines to develop details and comprehensive and constructible drawings. Implement QC measures and ensure deliverables comply with requirements. Make sound, timely decisions, involving appropriate people in the process. Ensure projects meet client agreements, budgets, goals, and work assignments. Professionally communicate assignments to staff, consultants, and vendors. Occasional travel required. Basic Qualifications Professional degree in Architecture. 3-7 years of professional design experience on commercial projects. High proficiency in Revit in a professional office setting. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D, including the ability to develop detailing, Revit schedules, families, and shared parameters. Preferred Qualifications Nevada licensed Architect or eligible for license reciprocity. Experience in BIM/VDC asset development and management. Scripting experience with visual programming automation tools (Dynamo and Grasshopper). Proficiency in visualization tools such as Lumion, Enscape, V-ray, Keyshot, Unreal, or Twinmotion.
