About the Role Bohler's Melville, NY office is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern - Wastewater Design for Summer 2027. In this role, you'll collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers on active land development and wastewater projects. You'll learn key design skills, build technical confidence, and develop an understanding of how engineering solutions come to life. What You'll Do Assist with site and wastewater system design, including pump stations and collection systems Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare concept plans, grading plans, and utility layouts Research zoning ordinances and local regulations to support project permitting Participate in field visits to see how designs are constructed Collaborate with engineers and designers to solve real project challenges What We Offer Hands-on experience working on real projects that impact communities Mentorship and guidance from licensed engineers and project managers Training in AutoCAD Civil 3D and exposure to the full land development process Professional development opportunities and preparation for your EIT/FE exam A collaborative and inclusive culture that values curiosity and creativity What You'll Bring Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Civil Engineering or a related field A strong interest in wastewater or land development design Effective communication skills and eagerness to learn Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is advantageous; however, training will be provided.
