Job Description

Help Build Projects from Start to Finish Thiel Construction is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter/Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of residential and commercial construction projects. This position works closely with company leadership to help draft state approved prints, manage project schedules, documentation, client communication, and daily workload coordination across multiple construction crews. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and comfortable balancing office responsibilities with client and project site interactions. Key Responsibilities Ability to use AutoCAD Coordinate daily workload activities and schedules for multiple construction crews. Assist in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to company standards. Support project planning by developing and maintaining project schedules, timelines, and task lists. Meet with prospective and existing clients to discuss project needs, timelines, and expectations. Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, contracts, drawings, and correspondence. Track project progress and communicate updates between field crews, clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, and expense monitoring using Microsoft Excel. Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor schedules to support efficient project execution. Maintain accurate project records and assist with reporting and administrative tasks. Help identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or project issues before they impact timelines. Qualifications Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required. Experience with AutoCAD Architecture and/or AutoCAD Civil required. SketchUp experience is highly desirable. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Previous experience in construction, project coordination, architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred.
