Full Job Description Electrical Revit Designer/Technician Location:
Grand Rapids or Farmington Hills, MI;
Cincinnati or Maumee, OH Employment Type:

Now we need to add an Electrical Revit Designer/Technician to help us keep building. Working as an integral part of our Electrical team, you will prepare power, lighting, and systems plans, one-line and wiring diagrams, as well as sections, details, and schedules for a variety of projects. You will work alongside electrical engineers, designers, technicians, and a diverse team of multidisciplinary consulting professionals to help bring projects from design through construction. What You'll Do Collaborate with lead electrical engineers and other designers and technicians to prepare 2D and 3D building information models Develop and maintain models, drawings, bidding and construction documents, and other project deliverables Prepare power, lighting, and systems plans, one-line and wiring diagrams, sections, details, and schedules Manage model and drawing setups, graphic standards, and document organization Coordinate printing, plotting, and distribution of bidding and construction documents Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices, as well as external consultants and clients, to support project delivery Help maintain consistent, accurate, and high-quality project documentation Continue developing technical skills and knowledge as design technologies and processes evolve What We're Looking For Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field Broad experience working in Revit MEP Familiarity with electrical design and drafting, including power distribution, lighting, and building systems Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively within a team environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills What We Offer Our staff members enjoy a comprehensive compensation package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Wellness reimbursement and activities Reimbursement and support for tuition, continuing education, and professional/personal development Vacation and sick time, volunteer PTO, parental leave, and paid holidays Opportunities for hybrid and flexible schedules 401(k), profit sharing, and stock ownership opportunities through our employee ownership program And more!
