Job Description
BIM Modeler Lead Our client is seeking a BIM Modeler Lead to oversee BIM modeling efforts and guide a team of professionals in delivering coordinated, high-quality designs for complex, large-scale projects. This role is ideal for an experienced BIM professional who combines strong Revit and/or Navisworks expertise with hands-on leadership skills and the ability to keep design schedules moving in a fast-paced, growing environment. This role is on-site in Portland, Gresham, Albany, Redmond, Oregon and Renton, Washington. BIM Modeler Lead Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the day-to-day work of a BIM team. Manage BIM design schedules, priorities, and deliverables to keep projects progressing according to established timelines. Utilize Revit and/or Autodesk Navisworks extensively to develop, review, coordinate, and maintain detailed BIM models. Review modeling work for accuracy, quality, constructability, and adherence to project requirements and BIM standards. Coordinate with internal project teams, designers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve design conflicts and modeling issues. Support BIM coordination for complex, large-scale construction projects, including high-volume and technically demanding environments. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to BIM team members while supporting their continued development. Collaborate effectively with distributed BIM and design resources to maintain consistent workflows, communication, and project execution. Identify opportunities to improve BIM processes, modeling practices, and team efficiency as project demands evolve. BIM Modeler Lead Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit and/or Navisworks, including substantial experience using these tools as part of daily BIM responsibilities. Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating BIM professionals and managing team deliverables. Strong understanding of BIM modeling, design coordination, clash detection, and model review processes. Experience managing design schedules, competing priorities, and deadlines across multiple projects or workstreams. Experience supporting complex commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or similarly large-scale construction projects; data center project experience is highly desirable. Ability to review technical models, troubleshoot design and coordination issues, and provide clear direction to other team members. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across both local and distributed teams. Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a rapidly growing environment with changing project demands. Strong leadership potential, willingness to learn, and the ability to coach and develop others. Ability to work onsite five days per week at one of the organization's designated locations in Oregon or Washington.
