Job Description
Overview As an Architectural Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC), in our Pittsburgh, PA office, you will be given the opportunity to perform architectural tasks that will help develop your architectural design skillset while supporting our project teams on a variety of industrial and manufacturing facility projects. Working in Revit, you will assist in the production of CAD drawings, showing plans, cross-sections, details, elevations, figures, graphs, and charts. You will also have the opportunity to work and coordinate with various disciplines including electrical, structural, mechanical/piping, and civil. Through the CEC Internship Program, you will: Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams across functional groups and locations Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time career Qualifications Current enrollment in an architectural or architectural engineering undergraduate program Revit experience preferred Prior internship and/or related experience preferred Local candidates preferred Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.
