We prioritize listening to our clients, building strong relationships and offering thoughtful guidance throughout the design process. With a foundation rooted in history, we harmoniously create homes, estates, master planning and designs that blend tradition with innovation. Our commissions can be found throughout the country, Eastern Seaboard and Canada.
Job Overview:
The role of Project Architect is responsible for guiding the design and client experience from start to finish while collaborating with other members of the Firm. This position must possess strong interpersonal and time management skills, along with a collaborative and detail-oriented approach to architecture.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Utilize AutoCAD to create full architectural sets from Pre Design through Construction Documentation. Manage communication with clients, partners and consultants throughout the design process and construction. Visit designs in construction and provide construction observation services. When applicable, survey existing structures with members of the Firm. Supervise, train and share knowledge with Intern and Junior Architects. Contribute to Period's development and growth through continued education and collaboration within the firm.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in residential architecture. Bachelor's degree in architecture. Master's degree preferred. Architectural licensure is preferred. Proficient in AutoCAD. Experience in the following software is preferred:
SketchUp Lumion Adobe Suite:
Photoshop, InDesign, & Illustrator Proficient in project and client experience management. Creative and passionate about traditional residential design. Strong documentation, technical and project management skills. Strong attention to detail and completeness of work. Ability to manage time and open communication with team members. Inquisitive and motivated for continuous improvement.
