Are you ready to build your career by joining an award-winning builder of luxury homes. If so, our client is hiring a Job Captain.

Position Type:

Contract

Hybrid:

3 days onsite, 2 days

WFH Required:

Associate degree or equivalent vocational/technical certification

5 years of architecture, construction, or residential design experience

2 years of project or people management experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word

Valid driver's license

Knowledge of architectural and construction principles

Experience in project and people management

Ability to influence and collaborate with internal resources, consultants, and remote teams

Preferences:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture

Experience with SketchUp, BIM360

Residential construction or homebuilding experience

Responsibilities:

Manage internal and external teams and projects to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards

Collaborate with other departments for informed decision-making

Engage with team members to share experiences and best practices

Assist in design initiatives and new technology projects

Ensure project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met

Manage multiple projects and read/understand construction codes

Exercise independent judgment and manage data effectively

Assist in business analysis and governance of standards

Plan, prioritize, and manage cross-functional teams

Use imagination to produce solutions and incorporate new practices Get in
