Job Description Job Description Job Description Job description Wildman Chalmers Design is a growing, highly collaborative studio firm looking to hire a creative, detail-oriented architect or architectural designer with at least 3 years of professional experience. Our office is currently located in Pittsburgh (free parking) and we work in a non-corporate, flexible studio environment. We are passionate about design, and our portfolio includes both renovation and new construction residential, commercial, hospitality, and other work. Most of our projects are located in the greater Pittsburgh area, and we have a strong commitment to client satisfaction and creating thoughtful, well-designed spaces. We're looking for highly motivated applicants who are able to multi-task and work independently on projects from the conceptual design phase through construction administration.
Responsibilities will include:
developing architectural drawings for use in both client presentations and construction documents; attending meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors; participating in existing conditions surveys and architectural base plan preparation; material and product research; addenda, clarification sketches, submittal reviews and jobsite meetings during construction administration. Requirements Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution At least 3 years of professional experience Collaborative, resourceful, disciplined & quick-learning Experience with a broad range of project types preferred Strong passion for both design and the technical aspects getting a project built Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit a must, Adobe Creative Suite a strong plus Must live in Pittsburgh or willing to move to Pittsburgh as this is a mostly in-office positionSalary:
