Job Description
What a Day Looks Like You start your morning walking the plant floor with engineering and maintenance, tape measure in hand, confirming dimensions for a process upgrade. After a quick safety huddle and a project estimation session, you head back to your workstation to transform those field notes into precise drawings. By midday, you're refining a P&ID and process flow diagram for a capital installation, then shifting to a structural layout with beam calculations and deck design. In the afternoon, you review vendor equipment drawings, generate flat patterns for maintenance, convert plots to PDFs, and archive your work so the team can retrieve it later with ease. It's hands-on, detail-obsessed, and deeply collaborative. Impact You'll Make Collaborate across plant engineering, maintenance, and department teams; communicate progress and align at safety and project meetings.
